HM Christmas Chime

Hi!  I bought this HM Swing Chime stamp off ebay (extraordinarily dirty and covered in gold ink BTW) and this bell was begging to be used in the House Mouse "Pop it Up" challenge.

I almost never make Christmas cards but my kids have a lot of fun stamping envelopes.  I barely get photo cards done.  It took hours on two separate occasions last year trying to get all four of my kids to smile (or at least not frown) and look at the camera.  I finally gave up (way past when my husband had thrown in the towel) and realized individual shots of them would be fine.  One was always grumpy, one was silly and one tried to crawl away (you ALL know who you are!).  I've got to say my 9 year old son was a trooper.  Maybe it would actually be less frustrating and time consuming to make my own Christmas cards and forget the photos?!

I stamped a second bell, covered it in red glitter and popped it up with foam tape.  I popped up the top layer and the Spellbinders Captivating Squares Frame with foam tape as well.  In the center of the sparkles I added tiny rhinestones and then encircled the rhinestones with clear glitter.  I used glitter on the gold bow too.

This house mouse image was colored with copics.  Thanks for looking!

Just darling. I don't think I've seen this image before, but I love it. Great job on the popped up bell. The glitter really helps it to stand out. Yeah! I remember those picture taking days. Too tiring to get them all "just right" for the photo. I think you should make your own cards - much easier. LOL So glad you could join us here at House Mouse & Friends this week. We do hope to be able to see you again soon. Enjoy your evening.
