Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm sharing some quick cards using the new Cheery Lynn May Release dies. Thank you so much for leaving all the lovely comments on my blog during the hop last week. I also enjoyed reading the comments on the Cheery Lynn Blog about everyone's favorite die. I thought I'd share some of my new favorites with you, the Chevron A2 Frame and the new sentiments dies.
Dies
This card was made using only three dies and it's so easy to replicate in different ways. I cut the chevron background die in white and mounted it to an A2 top fold card. I then colored another piece of card stock with red and pink inks and cut that with the chevron die. I then glued the colored strips into the negative areas and added glitter to the white areas. Below are some other examples of cards I've made recently using the same dies. These were made for my son's teacher and teacher aides. You can use the chevron with the negative pieces out or in. The card on the right uses pieces from the middle and left cards to create the color pattern.
Dies
My eight year old daughter and I made these Birthday cards for friends. She made the butterfly card. I helped add the glitter glue (I'm a little possessive with my toys) to the wings but she did the rest on her own. You can see I used the card on the left is the Chevron background that matches the pink strips I used on the first example card at the top of this post.

Jenny, love the cards. Your daughter's is gorgeous. She can make all my cards...good thing I only need about 4 for the year. LOL. That is just awesome to be able to have her craft with you. Even if it's only for a few moments.
