Spring Flowers

Hello!  I'm back sharing a new card today.  Spring is my favorite season and today has probably been the coldest it's been here in NY.  I'm really looking forward to warmer weather and seeing flowers again.

I first cut the two frames out of different papers using the Rectangles 6-in-1 set from IO.  The blue frame is raised.  It was adhered with foam adhesive and the yellow frame was glued flat.  I rolled about five of each type of flower from the Spiral Flowers die to create full flower clusters.  I love these little flower die, they roll easily with my quilling tool and there is a good variety of flowers.  I'm not sure you can see that it's shorter but the bottom of one of the pails was cut so it sits lower than the other.  The pails and flowers were colored with distress ink.  I also rubbed metallic paint over the pails and adhered them to the card with foam adhesive.

Thanks for visiting today!

So pretty! I've been meaning to make some cards with those sweet IO flower dies, but I'm just too lazy, so I'm happy to enjoy yours!
